For the initial facts that are hard to paraphrase, I used the Deseret News LDS Church Almanac.
Other initial facts for current apostles were taken from http://www.lds.org/. Again, they are mainly facts which were hard to paraphrase. But both of these, were paraphrased as possible.
Going forward we will use Google for more interesting information, as we begin a more comprehensive biography for eash one.

Hinckley mentioned one time that he was worried that some people wouldn't know some of these greatest apostles. I believe he was talking about Stephen L Richards at the time.
