Ronald Anderson Rasband
Born February 6, 1951 in Salt Lake City. Son of Rulon Hawkins and Verda Anderson Rasband.
Married Melanie Twitchell on September 4, 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple. They now have five children. She was born to Blaine Exeter and Marilyn Woodbury Twitchell.
He was President of the New York, New York City Mission from 1996-1999. He was called as a member of the Seventy April 2020 and to the Quorum of the Twelve October 2, 2015. His prior service in the Church also includes bishop, high counselor, executive director of the Temple Department, a counselor in the Europe Central Area Presidency.He received an honorary doctorate of business and commerce from Utah Valley State College in 1995
His employment was with various Huntsman companies. Ending as President and COO of Huntsman Chemical Company.
