He was born March 21st, 1872 in Salt Lake City, Utah
His parents are Joseph Fielding Smith and Edna Lambson.
He was ordained an apostle on October 24, 1901 by Joseph F. Smith when he was only 29 years old.
He died at Salt Lake City, Utah on January 23rd, 1918 at the age of 45.
