Lowell Tom Perry

He was born August 5, 1922 in Logan, Utah

His parents are L. Tom and Nora Sonne Perry.

He married Virginia Lee and they are the parents of three children. She died in 1974.  He married Barbara Dayton in 1976.

He served in the Marines in the Pacific during World War II. 

He was vice president and treasurer of a department store chain, based out of Boston, Massachusetts.

He was sustained to the Quorum of the Twelve on April 6th, 1974 and ordained an apostle April 11, 1974.

One of two talks I remember is the one where he commented on the people of Cache County for their fine observance of the Sabbath.

Another is his talk about service that talked about his wife and mother.
